General terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of goods form Kvik A/S (“Kvik”, “we” or “us”) through our webshop. When you shop on the webshop, you are purchasing from: Kvik A/S CVR-no.: 36814012 Stentoftvej 1, 7480 Vildbjerg E-mail: customercare@kvik.es Tlf.: +45 7211 7212 The physical stores are operated by independent franchisees and are not owned by Kvik. When "Kvik store" is used in these terms and conditions, this refers to an independent entity and not Kvik, which is why any agreement entered into directly with a Kvik store is not binding on Kvik.

The prices on Kvik's webshop are daily prices stated in EUR and include VAT, but are exclusive of delivery, assembly and installation/connection. Many of the products are available in different variants and different sizes. Therefore, the price changes when selecting size, surface and finish. The starting price will always be the smallest and cheapest configuration. Reservations are made for possible fee changes, price- and proofreading errors.

The following delivery options apply to purchases on Kviks webshop: Delivery to home address - EUR 12. Delivery to parcel box or parcel shop - EUR 9. Delivery time is 4-5 business days and the delivery cost on your order can always be seen by viewing the contents of your basket. We only deliver to addresses in Spain.

You will receive info by text message and/or email when the order is ready for collection at the selected parcel box or parcel shop. When picking up at a parcel box or parcel shop, you must follow the instructions you receive via text message and/or email.

Inspecting products upon receipt

Please check your products upon receipt, so that any errors, defects or deficiencies may be rectified immediately. If, contrary to expectations, you discover damage or defects in the products, it is important that you inform Kvik immediately after receiving your products or immediately after becoming aware of the existence of a defect Sample products and display items only show colours as a general feature, so Kvik is not responsible for any deviation, unless the specifically displayed colour is significant and relevant to you and Kvik has been informed of this by a written communication sent by you at or before the time of purchase and Kvik has expressly accepted such condition. Solid wood, veneer, granite, steel, terrazzo and composite stone are all products in which variations in colour and structure from the displayed sample products and display items may occur, and there may also be deviations in structure and colour in the individual delivery. Not all products with the same colour code from Kvik’s standard range are made with the same surface material, which is why there may be colour and shade differences in relation to fronts. Furthermore, there may be colour and shade differences between Kvik’s products and third-party products (e.g. white goods) with the same colour code. These colour and shade differences are not grounds for complaint unless they differ significantly from the samples and display models shown.

You will receive your new Kvik products unassembled. For assembly and installation, follow the assembly and installation instructions included with the purchase of the products. Cabinet carcasses are delivered in packages with the carcass number on them. Please note that some cabinet types come in more than one cabinet body package. The back for tall cabinets is delivered separately without any packaging. Check the order sheet or the assembly and installation guide to see which parts/packages belong to each type of cabinet. Drawers consist of the following parts: drawer package, drawer bottom, back piece and rails for any tall drawers. Plinth, end panels, shelves, adaptations, various decorative mouldings, etc., are delivered separately and normally unpackaged.

Assembly and installation

If you want assembly and/or installation, this must be arranged with a Kvik store. Find you nearest Kvik store at www.kvik.es/en-es/find-store . Please note that Kvik stores are independent businesses and are not owned by Kvik. An agreement for assembly and/or installation with a Kvik store is therefore not entered into with Kvik. Please note that the stores have their own terms and conditions, where you can find terms related to assembly and installations.

Kvik grants legal guarantee of three years on all purchased products according to local law. In addition, Kvik offers a commercial guarantee on most wooden products and movable parts. Please refer to the guarantee leaflet you received when you purchased your Kvik products or our website where you can read more about the warranty condition at www.kvik.es/en-es/about-kvik/why-kvik/warranty . Furthermore, special guarantees may apply in regard to suppliers of appliances, etc. We therefore encourage you to keep your invoice and any special guarantee certificates you receive with your product.

Responsibility for errors and delays, including the right to remedial action and replacement delivery

If you have lodged a timely complaint regarding delays or deficiencies, Kvik will make a subsequent delivery, remedial action or replacement delivery within a reasonable time. Should your product unexpectedly have a defect, please contact Kvik as soon as possible and we will do everything we can to rectify it. Online form for complaints can be found here: https://kvik.typeform.com/claim-en-es . Repair work or other processing of the product must not be carried out without prior authorisation from Kvik. If this happens, the work performed will be at your own expense and risk. As independent entrepreneurs, Kvik stores cannot handle complaints about products purchased via the Kvik webshop. If the defect or delay is material, you will be entitled to rescind the purchase. For successive deliveries, however, you will only be entitled to rescind the part of the delivery that is materially delayed or defective. Kvik is not liable for consequential damage, including – but not restricted to – loss, operational losses, downtime, loss of income, contract penalties, increased cost of rent or transportation. Please note that, in the event of defects or delay, you have a duty to mitigate loss. Kvik bears no liability in cases of failure to follow the accompanying instructions for Kvik products or if your own workmanship is substandard. Complaints regarding damage occurring during storage, assembly or installation in premises exposed to damp or major temperature fluctuations will not be accepted. Kvik bears no responsibility for whether the property's installations (electricity, plumbing, extractor fans, etc.) and fittings are adequate and suitable for the products purchased.

Where timely delivery or deficiency-free delivery is prevented or delayed because of events beyond Kvik’s control, including but not limited to industrial conflict, blockades, weather conditions, operational disturbances, transport difficulties or any other failure from a third party, epidemic and pandemic, quarantines and other orders from public authorities etc., Kvik will be entitled, without liability, to postpone delivery or cancel the order by letting you know as soon as possible.

Cancellation of purchase

There is a 30-day right of cancellation when purchasing goods on Kvik’s webshop. The right of cancellation runs from the time you receive the item. In order to exercise the right of cancellation, you must notify Kvik within 30 days of receipt of the goods that the purchase is cancelled. This can be done via our return slip, which is attached to these terms and conditions. The return slip can be sent by e-mail or enclosed in the return order. In addition, the item must be handed over to the carrier no later than 14 days after the expiry of the 30-day right of cancellation. Any return costs are the responsibility of you as the customer. Payment of return costs will be necessary and may be high depending on the carrier's rates. Kvik offers the purchase of a return label for an amount of EUR 14 for a parcel of up to 20 kg. The return label can be purchased via this link: https://return.shipmondo.com/kvikreturn-en-es . When returning goods, you as the customer are responsible for ensuring that the goods are packed securely. The product must be returned to: Kvik A/S, Stentoftvej 1, port 1-2, 7480 Vildbjerg. Packages sent cash on delivery are not accepted. If your order is returned to Kvik due to your failure to collect the order from the parcel shop or parcel box, we will contact you to clarify whether you still want your order or cancel the purchase. If we receive your order back due to non-collection, you will be deducted EUR 12 for return shipping costs.

Condition of the goods in case of cancellation of purchase

As a customer, you are liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. To receive a full refund, the item must be returned complete, with all parts and in its original packaging. The item must not have been damaged, attempted to be assembled or fitted, have screw holes, hinges or similar. If the products have been used to a degree where it can be expected that the selling price has deteriorated, Kvik will, after a specific assessment, refund the difference between the price paid and the price at which the product could be sold again.

Processing of personal data

Kvik processes your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection rules and Kvik’s privacy policy, which can be found here: www.kvik.es/terms-and-conditions/privacy-policy .

Kvik insists that any purchase of Kvik products must be associated with a positive experience and that our slogan “Everyone has a right to a cool kitchen” must hold true. If this is not the case, we want you to contact us, and we will do our very best to resolve any problems you may have experienced as soon as possible to your full satisfaction. The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR). The platform serves as a contact point for the out-of-court settlement of disputes concerning contractual obligations arising from online sales contracts. In Kvik’s webshop you can pay by credit card or Apple Pay. You can see which payment cards are accepted on the website. The purchase price will be deducted from your account when your order is dispatched from Kvik. If you exercise your right of cancellation, we will refund all payments received from you. The refund will be made without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we have received notice of your decision to cancel this agreement. We will make such a refund using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of having returned the goods, whichever is the earliest.
